Custom body work and metal fabrication
If handed a large amount of money, anyone could go to a luxury car dealership and pick out a car that looks expensive and gives an impression of success. But that’s generic and boring. Why not resurrect a car from the days when automotive design really mattered? Start with a huge piece of solid metal that has survived decades and will continue to survive. Make it something that no one else in the entire world has. Make it something that will turn every head it passes.
Bent Metal Customs represents a new generation of hotrodding and classic car restoration: fresh new ideas with an understanding and respect for the traditional ways of building cars. Let Justin Brunner and Bent Metal Customs build that car for you.
This 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible classic car restoration was one of Bent Metal Customs most metal work intensive builds.
The 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible had rust everywhere and needed attention on every panel. The quarter panels were repaired. All of the floors in this Chevrolet Impala were replaced front to back. At the time of this classic car restoration there were not many parts available for a 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. The rust repair took months to complete. Once the bodywork and paint were complete it was time for assembly. Most of the parts for this classic car restoration had to be refurbished since there is not much available. The Chevrolet Impala originally came with a 283, but we decided to install the 348 which was also installed in these Impalas.
The 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible is complete and on the road.
